# Chat History

> Access and manage your saved conversations

When you're signed in, every conversation is automatically saved so you can revisit it later. You don't need to do anything — Flux saves your chats as you go.

<Note>
  Chat history is only available for signed-in users. Guest sessions are not saved.
</Note>

## Viewing your history

Open the sidebar to see your saved conversations. Chats are grouped into two sections:

* **Today** — conversations from the current day
* **Previous Chats** — older conversations, sorted by most recent

Each chat shows a title and a timestamp. If there are more chats than fit on screen, click **\[••• More]** to load additional entries.

<Info>
  Chat titles are automatically generated based on your vehicle and the issue discussed.
</Info>

## Starting a new chat

Click the **pencil icon** (square-pen) in the top navigation bar to start a fresh conversation. Your previous chats remain saved in the sidebar.

## Switching between chats

Click any chat in the sidebar to open it. Flux loads the full message history for that conversation so you can pick up where you left off.

On mobile, open the sidebar by tapping the **menu icon** in the top-right corner, then tap a chat to switch to it.

## Searching or filtering

Chats are currently sorted by recency — today's conversations appear at the top, followed by previous chats in reverse chronological order. There is no keyword search at this time.

To find a specific conversation, scroll through the sidebar or use your browser's built-in search if you have the chat open.
