# Your Account

> Sign up free to save chats, bookmark answers, and get more daily messages

You can use Flux without an account, but signing up for free unlocks chat history, bookmarks, and a higher daily message limit.

## Guest vs. signed in

    You can start chatting immediately without creating an account. As a guest, you get:

    * **10 messages per day** — resets every 24 hours
    * No chat history — conversations are not saved between sessions
    * No bookmarks — you can't save helpful responses for later

    Guest usage is tracked in your browser. If you clear your browser data, your daily count resets.

    With a free account, you get everything a guest gets, plus:

    * **20 messages per day** — double the daily limit, resets every 24 hours
    * **Full chat history** — your conversations are saved and accessible across devices
    * **Bookmarks** — save any response to revisit later
    * **Display name** — set a friendly name shown in the app

## Creating an account

    You'll find the **Sign up free** button on any page of the Flux app. Click it to open the sign-up dialog.

    Enter your email address and create a password, or use a social login option if available. No credit card is required.

    Your account is ready immediately. From this point on, your chat sessions are saved automatically and accessible from any device.

## Profile settings

**Display name** — You can set a friendly name that appears in the app. To update it, open your profile from the chat interface.

**Sign out** — To sign out, open the account menu in the app and select **Sign out**.

**Delete account** — To permanently delete your account and all associated data, go to your Profile page and scroll to the **Account Management** section. Click **Delete Account** and confirm when prompted. This action cannot be undone.
